Girls Trip Gone LEFT!

Dear Kesha,
My husband and I have been married for 8 years. He has a best friend who’s been married for 10 years. At least once a month for the past 6 or 7 years we get together at once a month for a “couples date night”.

Initially I was VERY apprehensive fostering a relationship with my husband best friend wife outside of our “couples date night” but over the last 2 or 3 years my husband has been extremely encouraging for me to step outside my comfort zone and foster a one-on-one relationship with his best friend wife.

Finally about a year ago, after the release of the “Girls Trip” movie I coordinated a cabin Girl’s Trip of my own with a couple of my childhood and old college friends. Because I was the only person my husband best friend wife knew we bunked in the same room during the cabin trip!

On the second night of the cabin trip, after a day and evening fused with alcohol & editable’s... while lying in bed together my husband best friend wife made a “pass” at me which I ignored, ruled out and blamed it on the alcohol! She eventually dosed off but I was yet a little restless, so I went and soaked in the bath and then got back in the bed with just my night-tee on...fast forward...I dosed off and then shortly thereafter woke up to being “pleasured orally”...when I immediately came too and realized it wasn’t my husband... but my husband best friend wife...and honestly it felt so good and the BEST I ever experienced...

Needless, to say post the Girls Cabin trip, my husband best friends wife and I started “hanging out one- on-one” more frequently for a couple of months...until my husband saw my credit card statement with a couple of hotel charges forcing me to come clean about what transpired!

Strangely enough after I came completely “clean” to my husband...he immediately calmed down and told me to have his best friend wife come over by herself to discuss our extra martial affair and how we should break the news his best friend!

The next evening when she came to my husband I home, something was OFF! My husband and her were EXTREMELY cordial considering the “circumstances” we’re meeting under...to the point...my husband and I were sitting on the sofa together and she proceeded to get up, walk towards me and ask me to let her show my husband how she “performs”...

I WAS MORTIFIED AND ABOUT TO GO OFF ON HER FOR DISRESPECTING ME, MY HUSBAND AND OUR HOUSEHOLD BUT...my husband grabbed my hand, gently kissed me on my neck and whispered in my ear “Relax baby, let this happen!” and gently parted my legs for her! Confused, dismayed but yet somewhat intrigued I reluctantly gave in...but what happened NEXT blew my mind!

MY HUSBAND GOT UP, WALKED OUT THE ROOM...ONLY TO RETURN NAKED AND BEGAN TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WIH HIS BEST FRIEND WIFE...IN FRONT OF ME! AAAAAAAAAAND HAVE BEEN FOR YEARS AS SHE SAID OUT LOUD “YOU BEEN HITTING THIS RIGHT SINCE COLLEGE!”

Not ONLY did I find out she and my husband have BEEN having an affair for YYYYYYYYYYYYEARS but my husband later confessed that HE setup and KNEW about the entire situation all along...hence him ALWAYS encouraging me to foster a relationship with his best friend husband wife! I am FURIOUS with my husband and at this point cannot STOMACH his best friend wife, not to mention my husband best friend IS NOT AWARE OF THE LONG TERM AFFAIR BETWEEN MY HUSBAND, HIS WIFE AND I!

We have our monthly regularly scheduled “couples date night” coming up in a couple of weeks since this revelation has all been revealed...

My question is...SHOULD I TELL MY HUSBAND BEST FRIEND ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS BETWEEN MY HUSBAND, HIS WIFE AND NOW ME AS OF RECENT?

Signed,
Conflicted Betrayal

EMPLOYERS CAN MAKE THE WORKPLACE A HEALTHY PLACE

Good Eating, Good Drinking & Exercise - The Answers to Good Life

Healthy eating and proper exercise can enhance workplace performance.  Employers can contribute with the development of thoughtful practices that encourage employees to engage in healthy activities.

Employers can establish programs within the work space that would create and improve partnering and group interaction.  There is a special dynamic that develops when employees share diet tips, food dishes, recipes and in general fruits and vegetables that can be distributed throughout the office and can be appreciated within the work environment. Technology has opened the door for creativity and sharing that has never been offered previously.  Hassle-free information is just a click away.

Employers can contribute by designated a specific time and day that they will provide health information professionals to be available to their employees in order to keep them apprised of new and cutting edge information about food, exercise and beverages.

The employer can establish a once a week Farmer’s Market on site of the workplace for employees to purchase and consume healthy foods for themselves and their families.

Employers can install an alkaline water machine in their facility to offer water that contains a high ph balance for their workforce.

Employers can create healthy competition within the work space.  By working with the health care providers that provides medical insurance for their employees, the employer can create a program where the staff can monitor their steps, cholesterol, blood pressure, and glucose levels.  All personal medical information will only be handled by health care providers and with the written permission of the employee.

Employers can provide extra time mid-day for workers to participate in walks, cycling, yoga, eliminate stress activities, exercise and other activities that will enhance body movement.

Employers can provide monetary or gift incentives for the winners of specific competitions.    For the employer, the goal is to improve job performance, longevity and fewer critical illnesses which lead to loss of work hours and stress on others. Some programs are free to California Health Care Providers.
